Singapore-based climate group has released the list of world's top 10 polluted cities, in which three cities are from India and Delhi top the list with average 556 AQI level. AQI level above 300 represent Health warning emergency. 

The general public of Delhi are experiencing burning sensation in eye, breathing problem and the one who are highly sensitive are on high risk of getting respiratory disease. 

Crop Burning, auto mobile emissions, industrial pollution and power plants are some of the main cause of air pollution.

High pollution level can cause immediate problems:

  • Can inflame respiratory and cardiovascular disease
  • It can put stress on your heart and lungs to supply the oxygen to the body
  • It can damage cells

If the high pollution level persist for long time then following health problem could happen:

  • It may decreased lung function and reduce lung capacity
  • It can develop some respiratory disease such as bronchitis, asthma, emphysema.
